May I ask a favor, Jirou-kun?
Aug. 25th, 2014 01:03 amI am headed to the US Open to compete and cannot take my kitten with me. Not only is he too young, but far too energetic and curious to have alone in my hotel room during the day.
Would...would you be willing to watch him? I know you are still considering moving in with me. You can consider this a dry run, if you like. See if you like the place first.
[ooc: Let's pretend I posted this about four days ago, shall we? :)]

Home and Home
Aug. 5th, 2014 01:26 amI've returned from the press-tour after my latest win. I had forgotten that requirement of being ATP #1. But it is worth it.
However, I find that I cannot expose my parents to the increased attention from the press, so I have found a new place to live. Thank you for the assistance, Atobe.
If anyone is looking for a roommate and does not mind that the press will be checking up on me from time to time, I find that I would prefer not to live alone.

Home Again
Apr. 4th, 2014 11:43 pmThe good news is that I have been climbing the ranks and am back in the top 5. I've been winning quite steadily at all the tournaments I've been to since Australia.
The bad news is, I am rather exhausted. My manager actually told me to take some time off and recover. Mostly it's the jet lag, so if anyone is interested in a game, please let me know?

My Grandfather's Birthday Party
Dec. 9th, 2013 01:24 amSanada-san has arranged a birthday party for my Grandfather over at the Sanada residence. My parents and I are looking forward to the event.
[Edited next morning]
Well. It is obvious my Grandfather let his guard down last night. I'm not sure when Sasuke will recover. Too bad brain bleach isn't an actual thing.
Apparently Sanada-san hadn't informed his family about his and my Grandfather's exact relationship. Even having been told that they HAD been in one didn't prepare my Father for the evidence of their current continuation. My Mother is suggesting that they go to a health spa in the mountains for a few weeks. I approve, Father needed a vacation anyway.
As for myself, I sincerely hope that I am that...energetic and enthusiastic when I am their age.
[ooc: I left the WHAT up in the air, hope this works...I can edit if not. Tezuka is in a bit of shock but is also thinking, "way to go Gramps!" ;)]

Aug. 17th, 2013 09:07 amApparently a lot has happened since I went incommunicado and up Mt. Everest.

Journal Entry: August 15th, 2013
Aug. 15th, 2013 05:57 amToday is the anniversary of the end of WWII and Obon. Since I am in town this year I will be going to visit the ancestors with my parents and grandfather. Afterward, I may go and sit out in the sun for a bit.
Mt. Everest was...cold. Above all else, cold. Yes, the climb was difficult, the oxygen rare, but it was the cold that hit me the hardest. It was a seep-into-your-bones cold. A day hasn't gone by since my return that I haven't had either a hot bath or a hot shower.
In other news, today was hot and clear and I did three practice sets and my core exercises today. Even though I am not coming back to tennis until after the US Open, I need to stay at the top of my game. It will be good to see everyone again, however.
